July Fourth Weekend!

Happy Independence Day! Man-o-man have we been busy! Lots of picnics and the zoo! Not to mention I need to be outside every moment of the day practicing my walking. The driveway grows so fast I need to mow it every single day! Don't be alarmed by my pics...I've taken a few spills lately that have landed me with a fat lip and a black eye. The fat lip was very traumatic...mostly for mom and dad. There was blood everywhere. But no biggie...I'm a tough guy remember?

Fourth of July began as it should begin...with a nap on Papa! I slept for 3 hours before everyone came over to party.

Then I ran around the backyard for a bit saying hi to all of our guests.

Of course my buddy Jordyn came to celebrate!

Here's Jordyn and her Mommy.

And Brynnie being silly with her Papa.

Miss Brooke had a basket with yummy gummy bears in them. Well...I hear they were yummy because they were for adults only! My mommy sure did like them.

Here's my Aunt Jen and Uncle Kyle.

My favorite cousins and I played in the water table. I kept pretty busy that day.
I also had to walk my puppy all over the place.

Silly Uncle Kyle made a triple cheeseburger! Can I have some?!

This is Daddy's football buddy Mr. Ante. Every time I see him I reach for him. He's my buddy too!

And of course Mommy is my buddy.

I didn't want any of the picnic food so Mom made me a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. I think I got half of it on Grandpa. Sorry Grandpa!

Brynnie looked so pretty in her festive dress.

On Saturday we hit the zoo in the 90 degree heat! Whew...it was a sweaty day, but so cool! You would not believe the animals we saw! I love the elephants and the seals and the monkeys and the fish and the giraffes...I don't think there were any that I didn't like!

Maybe next year my ears will reach the donkey ears to take a better picture.

That giraffe right above mommy's head was coming right toward us. It was so neat.

This was Mr. Polar Bear. He was having a good 'ol time sunning himself.

Daddy and I got to ride a wolf! Sadly it was the only wolf we saw.

This monkey was really friendly.

The aquarium was neat but very crowded cause it was air conditioned!

Do I look different?

One of the last things we saw were the storks. Two of them took off and ran right at me. Mommy is scared of birds so she grabbed me and ran!
