Looong Overdue!

Why are days so busy?! We haven't updated since our Patterson's trip in early October! That means we need to catch you guys up on Halloween and Thanksgiving and Birthday Parties and cooking, and snow! Hopefully, we will not have such a long break in between our blogs next time because Christmas is right around the corner. We have been wrapping gifts and making cookies for my school holiday party. It has taken a long time to get ready and it's over so quickly. Can't wait to see everyone! Hope Santa is good to you all! Merry Christmas!

First up is our hayride at Lake Farm Park. I went with Logan, Brynn, and Joey. We got a cool picture in front of the scary monsters and you would never know that right after this shot, the bench fell forward and I busted my mouth open on the wooden sign in front of us. Just a little blood...nothing I can't handle. :)
Nice family pic on the wagon.

Me and daddy chillaxin'.

Logan had a costume party for his birthday so I got to wear my costume three times this year! Cutest ninja ever!

Although there was another ninja at the party that came very close!

Brynnie, Logan, Aunt Jen, and Uncle Kyle were all astronauts! To infinity and beyond!

Joey was tearin' up the dance floor!

And I was too of course! My favorite song right now is the Party Rock Anthem!

Daddy made my first pile of leaves to jump in. I was not so sure about this, but it ended up being really fun! Who knew a pile of leaves could be entertaining?

Daddy knew!

And Grandpa too!

This was actual trick or treat night. There were so many people to wave to on the sidewalks! We visited about 6 or 7 houses before deciding it was just to cold. We ended up with lots of leftover candy though. Turns out we don't have the most popular street for trick or treating!

That's ok...I like when the kids come to the door. Although why do I have to give THEM candy? I wanted to take their candy and put it in MY bucket!

SUGAR!!!!!

Time out for a call to Jordyn! "Did you get candy too?!" "Yeah...I saw lots of loony people dressed up too. What's that all about?!"

All done? No way....I refuse to close this door! There has to be just one more!

Next up is Ava's 2nd birthday party! She got lots of cool girlie presents, but the coolest thing she got was a slide! And there were yummy nachos and cheese too.

See what I mean about the slide? This is all I wanted to do and we had to leave a little early because I was having a hard time sharing the slide with the other kids.

So how do mommy and daddy punish me for not sharing? Buying me my own slide the very next day! Haha....that mommy and daddy are suckers!

But good news...I have been able to share my slide with Jordyn, Brynn, and Logan!

Mom and I made pumpkin cookies! I truly am her sous chef! We make grilled cheese and tomato soup, mac and cheese, peanut butter and jelly, waffles, lemon chicken pasta, and lots of other yummy recipes!

Jammie day! We have lots of jammie days and I now get very angry when I have to get dressed. It just means that we have to go to school.

My cousin Jack was in town from North Carolina. We got to play at Aunt Mar and Uncle Tony's house and we were fast friends.

Jack loves to dance just as much as I do! We were dancing maniacs!

Then we made music with the blocks.

Jack showed me lots of cool things like walking down the stairs without holding on, saying no to mommy, and counting to six! I think we should get together more often!

Thanksgiving day at Grandma Jean's house!

Aunt Meghan brought in this life size cat in the hat. I was not so sure about a cat this big.

Papa and I rode the scooter around the block.

We took some great family pictures! Don't worry Grammie....you're getting a copy of this!

And you're getting this one Grandma and Grandpa!

We put up the Christmas tree. I only broke about 6 ornaments...apparently the plastic bin looked like a basketball hoop and I spiked a bulb into the bin where all of the glass ornaments were waiting for mommy. Crash! oooops!

Brynn and I coloring in the Elmo coloring book. My new favorite pasttime.

"Cheese!" Really! I did say cheese here!

Santa and Mrs. Claus came to school for a visit. I'm not sure about that fuzzy man. Mrs. Claus was very nice though!

Logan goes to my school now too so we all got to take a picture together with Santa!

Making cookies again with mom. These were the ones we decorated with sprinkles. I am the sprinkle King! Yum!

We hosted Grandpa's birthday last weekend and I helped open presents. Gotta get training for the big day!

Well...time to go outside and play in the snow! Maybe next time I won't scream because I have to put on snow pants and boots! Mommy is hoping that I remember what they are for and don't cause such a rucous!

Merry Christmas Everyone!!! Love you all!!!!
