Introducing...Garrett Andrew Remner!!!!!

Well everyone, the long awaited day finally came. Garrett was born April 22, 2010 at 4:14pm. He weighed 8 pounds and was 19 inches long. (I guess mommy ate too much ice cream!)Mommy and Daddy are ecstatic to have him here and he has settled in at home very well. The first night was not so great because Garrett did not want to sleep unless he was in our arms. Mommy was up for some of the night and Daddy was a great relief so Mommy could sleep too. Needless to say, we were both very tired on Sunday. The second night was so much better. Garrett finally got full and slept for 2 hours at a time! He had his first doctor appointment today and is in good health. We do need to go back next week to get weighed and make sure he's back to his birth weight. We also have made an appointment to see a pediatric orthopedist for a "clicking" in his hip. Apparently, this is completely fixable but he made need a brace or casting to help his bones grow correctly.
